Egg & Sausage Casserole

30 minutes prep / 1 hour baking



Ingredients/Shopping List

  • 2 tubes of Sage Flavored Sausage

  • 12-14 Eggs

  • 10-12 slices of bread

  • Softened Butter

  • 3/4 cups Milk

  • Salt & Pepper

  • Optional (shredded cheese)


Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°

  2. Brown sausage in frying pan.   

  3. Once sausage is browned, drain completely in a colander.  Try to get out as much grease as possible.  

  4. Spray 9x13 glass pan lightly with non-stick oil.

  5. Butter bread lightly and place butter side down until the bottom of the pan is completely covered.

  6. Spread drained sausage over bread.

  7. Whip 12-14 eggs and milk together.  Salt & pepper to taste.   Pour over sausage.

  8. Cover loosely with aluminum foil

  9. Bake for 1 hour.

  10. In the last 15 minutes remove foil to let the casserole brown on top.  Add optional cheese to melt.


Tips

This can be prepared  the night before and baked the next day!
